My friends, voting is one of our most important responsibilities as citizens. There are three primary responsibilities that all American citizens should adhere to: (1) to pay taxes, (2) to defend our country, and (3) to vote.
Each of these responsibilities asks us to put the good of society and our fellow American citizens above our immediate desires and needs. As voters, the question we must answer is not whether we are better off than we were four years ago, but whether the needs of the weakest and most defenseless among us are being addressed. In the voting booth, we have a privileged opportunity to contribute to our nation and promote the common good by bringing the values and teaching of our forefathers to bear on the issues facing our society.
So it is important that you register and vote for the person you want in local, state, and federal levels of government.
